We Believe.....

...every person is born a sinner, lost and condemned, ruined in body and soul.  This is called original sin.  We believe that because we are born sinners we commit actual sins in thoughts, words, and actions.  Because of our sin, we are lost to God, spiritually blind, dead, and enemies of God.  (Romans 8:1-4)

...our salvation is found only in the Gospel.  The Gospel tells us that Christ as our Substitute, fulfilled the Law, suffered, died, rose from the dead, and ascended into heaven - all for us.  Christ took our punishment on Himself and made us right with Gpd. our heavenly Father.  (John 3:16)

...everyone must believe for himself or herself.  No one can be saved by another's faith or by what one does.  Eternity in heaven is the gift for all who confess Jesus as Savior.  (Ephesians 2:8-9)

...the Bible is the inspired Word of God.  Every word of the Bible is God's Word, written by holy men of God.  The Bible is without error. (2 Timothy 3:15-16)

...the only true God is the Triune God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, three distinct Persons in one living Being.  (Matthew 3:16-17)

...God, the Father Almighty, is the Maker of heaven and earth and all creatures.  God is our heavenly Father and loves us as His children.  (Genesis 1:1)

...Jesus Christ is true God, begotten of the Father from eternity, and also true man, born of the Virgin Mary.  Jesus Christ is our Saviour and the Lord of our lives.  (John 1: 1-2)

...the Holy Spirit is true God with the Father and the Son.  The Holy Spirit makes us holy by bringing us to faith through the Gospel and Baptism.  He keeps us in faith and prompts works of Christian service.  He strengthens us through the Lord's Supper and the study of God's Word, the Bible.  (Titus 3:4-8)

...Law and Gospel are the two great doctrines of the Bible.  The Law (The Ten Commandments) tells us how we are to be and what we are to do and not to do.  The Gospel tells us the good news of salvation in Jesus Christ.  Studying Scripture daily is the foundation of our lives that shows God's eternal purpose for us.  (Romans 3:23-24)

...God daily and richly forgives all sins to all believers because of His grace, for Christ's sake.  It is not because of any merit or worthiness in us.  We believe that it is our mission to take the same message of the Gospel to all people.  (Matthew 29: 18-20)

"For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith--and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God--not by works, so that no one can boast."  Ephesians 2:8-9
